Grand Tour

What started as a simple mess text this morning that read, "Let's get pizza, bring your rwd," turned into a long, looping drive through the countryside and hills, to a reservoir and back. Two S2000's, a Miata, a BMW 3 series and 200 miles.

Lots of scenery, canyons and laughs.

Spring time is top down time.

It's getting warmer so I took the chance to go top down and roll around. The feeling of jamming along on a skateboard is similar to whipping along a road with the top down with the sun on your face. It's difficult to think a friend I haven't made by riding one of these two around.

Overture

I'm starting this blog as a way to share what I see on a regular basis; racing, cars, wrenching, the people I've met and befriend because of these hobbies, and what it brings to my life. To start it all of let me explain the name.

3A Garage was apparently one of, if not the first garages open in my home town of Reno, I found this old photo a while back showing their tow truck. Everything starts crudely, but its always started because there is a need, either a demand by people or an interest by an individual, and that's what this is. The blog will never be high def, 3D, trend setting, trend following, or necessarily cool, but it is what it is.
